Couriv ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered learning platform operated by Couriv. Our service is available at https://couriv.com.

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account data — name and email address when you register.
• Uploaded documents — PDFs you upload to generate quizzes, flashcards, or courses. These are stored on our servers and processed by our AI pipeline.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and error logs, collected via server-side analytics to improve the product.
• Payment data — billing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We never see or store your card details.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
• To process your uploaded documents and generate AI study materials.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
• To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Documents you upload are sent to third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic and Google) to generate study content. These providers process your data under their own data-processing agreements and do not use your content to train their models under our enterprise agreements.

Do not upload documents containing sensitive personal information (medical records, financial statements, government IDs).

Your account data and uploaded documents are retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual documents or your entire account at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. No third-party analytics scripts are loaded on the client.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@couriv.com. We will respond within 30 days.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored with restricted access on our VPS. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email.
